June Net Tuesday- Online Makeover Nonprofit Edition
Join us on June 16th to help a couple of deserving nonprofits spruce up their online presence. Each nonprofit will be sharing a technology challenge related to completing their mission. Be it creating a good social media strategy, design ideas for an outdated website, how to dive in to online fundraising or some other online need, the help of our Net Tuesday pros (that’s you!) will be greatly appreciated.
The location will be announced soon so put June 16th on your calendar now.
In the meantime we need applications from nonprofits in need so spread the word to those that could use some help. Any organization can apply for a makeover, all we need from them is the following:
Organization name
Contact name
Website
Contact phone number and email
The challenge they are facing
A brief statement of what the organization is looking to get from their participation.
The organization will be required to send two participants to the event and will have about 5 minutes to present who they are and what help they need. Then the brainstorming begins!
The application emails are due to Sarah Schacht director@knowledgeaspower.org by Friday June 12th so push this out to your nonprofits and get these applications in soon!

- Sameer---we're picking two organizations to "get a makeover." We'll do more make overs in the future.
