May Net Tuesday: Networking & Demo Lounge
Seattle Net Tuesday is back in May and we're looking forward to introducing you to amazing people who live and breathe this ever-changing sector. Join us for networking, happy hour, and our new Demo Lounge at Charm on May 19th between 5:30 and 8:30 PM.
Our new co-organizers, Joe Solomon & Jessica Dally are social tech pros and it's awesome to have them on board. Joe is organizing the Demo Lounge, an feature of Seattle Net Tuesday where you bring your laptop and teach a new tool or hack, show off your nonprofit's use of social media, or seek solutions and feedback from the audience. Jessica is taking over our update and outreach communications, making sure you're kept up-to-date on Net Tuesday and Net Squared events and news.
If you'd like to present in the Demo Lounge, contact Joe at joe@engagejoe.com with a paragraph about the topic you want to present on, what organization or company you're affiliated with. Plan on squeezing your demo into 5 minutes for a small audience.
Charm has $3 appetizers and drinks during happy hour from 5 to 7 PM. We've got the whole space reserved for Seattle Net Tuesday, and have open source DJ-ing (bring your iPod & DJ for us!).
